What you'll be doing:
As a Remote Support Specialist at Plugout, you'll provide exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring their security systems operate smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to client inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, or chat.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting security system problems remotely.
- Providing step-by-step guidance to clients on how to resolve issues.
- Escalating complex issues to higher-level support or engineering teams when necessary.
- Documenting client interactions and solutions in our support database.
- Monitoring and maintaining client security systems to prevent issues.
- Keeping clients informed about the status of their support tickets and any required follow-ups.
- Participating in training sessions to stay updated on the latest security technologies and solutions.
You're probably a match if you have:
- Proven experience in a technical support or helpdesk role, preferably within the security solutions industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose technical issues remotely.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Patience and a customer-focused attitude.
- Familiarity with security systems and software.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support tickets simultaneously.
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
