1996
Pre-Plugout Founder John Aksoy used the 1st ever IP CCTV camera.
2003
Founded in 2003 in New York City by John Aksoy, owner and Chief Executive Officer. Plugout started offering network-based security solutions and introduced video analytics.
2009
Plugout first introduced Face Recognition for access control with FST.
2011
Plugout deployed New York City's largest network-based security solution with facial recognition.
2013
Plugout was awarded the Gold place finalist award by SIA (Security Industry Association) in December of 2013 for 1st place most innovation award.
2017
Plugout was one of the first to introduce Anyvision Face Recognition to the US market in 2017 for a government project.
2019
Plugout headquarters moved to a building built in 1908 with a complete interior modern renovation and state-of-the-art technology showroom.
2020
Plugout launched an in-house Product Development division for custom-tailored solutions.

Plugout opened a Manufacturing Facility in Florida
